A December Bird Walk:
Migratory Waterfowl and Winter Residents at Fresh Pond Reservation
Date: Saturday, December 11
Time: 9:00 to 11:00 am
Location: Neville Place Parking Lot
650 Concord Avenue, Cambridge
This will be the 14th and final bird walk offered by the Friends group in 2004. We may see a variety of waterfowl including canvasbacks, coots, grebes, and several species of merganser, as well as over-wintering birds such as downy woodpeckers, nuthatches, titmice, and red-tailed hawks.
Beginners are welcome. We have binoculars to lend and will show you how to use them. Please arrive on time and dress warmly!
