November 26, 2004, afternoon
Freezing temperatures overnight. Ice in the shadows. Mushrooms had a glazed ceramics look to them--a layer of frozen moisture, perhaps to protect them from freezing. Cassady is very happy and frisky with the low temperature and stiff breeze. It rained and the wind blew overnight. That produces a dappled effect on part of the path around the pond. See photo number 6.
