Fresh Pond Reservation

30 degrees. Very fine/misty snow/rain falling when Cassady and I go out. Overcast. No wind. She wears her raincoat. Lots of snow last night. Fresh Pond is again a winter wonderland. Cardinal at post 364. Not singing as much as previous days, and hanging away from the path, on the edge of the golf course. We visit the Neville Center, getting there through deep snow, to see if Ranger Jean is there. Not today, we are told, yesterday. Lots of ducks parked on the ice near Sousa's Rock.
